Affiliate and Advertising Disclosure

Last updated: October 16, 2026

My Food Tales is free to read, and some of the costs of running it are covered by advertising and affiliate links. This page explains how that works, in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines.

Affiliate links

Some posts may contain affiliate links to kitchen tools, ingredients or other products I use or recommend. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend products I believe are useful to home cooks, and a commission never decides what I write.

As an Amazon Associate

If you join the Amazon Associates program, keep this line: My Food Tales is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. Delete it if you do not use Amazon affiliate links.

Advertising

The Site may show display ads from Google AdSense or other ad networks. Advertisers do not control or edit our recipes or articles. These networks may use cookies to show ads relevant to you. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for how to opt out.

Sponsored content and free products

If a post is sponsored, or I receive a free product or payment for a review, I will clearly say so in that post. Sponsored content always reflects my honest opinion.

Your trust matters

You are never required to use an affiliate link or click an ad. If you prefer, you can search for a product and buy it directly.
